85% Increase In Afghanistan's Exports
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate, Afghanistan's exports have seen an 85% growth this year.
Nouruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, stated on Saturday 25th Feb that Afghanistan's exports have increased by 85% this financial year and have now reached one billion and 800 million dollars.
Mr. Azizi said in an interview with one of the media that this year's export earnings reached one billion and 800 million dollars for the first time, while in previous years it did not exceed 800 million dollars.
The head of this ministry also notes that coal, chromite, saffron, dried fruit and fresh fruit are among the most important exports of Afghanistan.
It is said that the main destination of Afghanistan's export items is the neighboring countries: Turkmenistan, China, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and other countries including Turkey, Kazakhstan, India and the United Arab Emirates.
