According To The World Bank, Afghans Who Has Not Access To Food Are Doubled

The World Bank has released the results of a new survey of Afghanistan, which shows that the number of people in need of food and other basic necessities of life in this country has doubled.

The Afghanistan Welfare Survey, released yesterday , was conducted between October and December 2021, and 70 percent of respondents said they could not meet their food and other basic needs.

According to the World Bank, this figure would reach 35% in Afghanistan in May 2021.

The World Bank says half of Afghanistan's population has no access to three meals, up from 25 percent or a quarter between July and August last year.
