Turkey Wants To Invest In Afghanistan

The Turkish ambassador in Kabul, in a meeting with Amir Khan Mottaqi, the acting foreign minister of the Taliban government, said that his country wants to invest in Afghanistan.
According to a ministry newsletter, Turkish Ambassador in Afghanistan 'jehad ırgenay' said his country's relations with Afghanistan were moving in a positive direction.
He also assured the continuation of Turkish humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
Amir Khan Mottaki, the Taliban's acting foreign minister, said they would pave the way for any co-operation to invest in Turkish businessmen.
Nine and a half months later, no country has yet recognized the Taliban government.
