Two New Gas Wells To Be Drilled In Northern Afghanistan This Year

The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum says that two new gas wells will be drilled in Jawzjan this year.
Officials in this ministry add that these wells will have more capacity, and a purification device will be installed next to these wells to purify this gas on site.
This ministry adds that this year, 94.5 square kilometers of gas pipeline from Jawzjan to Balkh will be completed and put into operation.
The officials of this ministry add that currently 600 thousand cubic meters of gas are produced and processed in Jawzjan province, and they plan to increase the gas production and processing capacity in this province to two million cubic meters.
