Water Intake Of Shah And Arous Dam Started
The construction of this dam has been delayed several times in the last 11 years due to various reasons.
The National Water Regulatory Authority says the water supply of Shah and Arus dams in Kabul's Shakardara district started today (Wednesday, May 2).
Officials from the National Water Regulatory Authority have said that the construction of the dam will be completed and will be commissioned in the near future.
Currently, the construction of the Shah and Arous Dam is one of the major projects of the National Water Administration.
The dam has a capacity of 1.2 megawatts of electricity and irrigates 2,700 hectares of land.
This dam also has the capacity to store 9 million cubic meters of water.
According to statistics, more than $ 50 million has been spent on the construction of this dam.
