Kabul Residents Concerns Of Rising Food And Oil Prices
Residents and drivers in Kabul are worried about rising fuel and food prices and are urging the Taliban to control prices.
They say fuel prices have risen sharply in the past week and people are facing a lot of problems.
"We can not afford to buy raw materials, and we call on the Taliban to solve this problem as soon as possible," said Ezatullah, a Kabul resident.
Mohammad Shakir, a resident of Kabul, added: "We can not bear this price in this unemployment and poverty. "Our situation is bad, we are currently in a period of crisis, we have no work and prices have risen."
The country's oil sellers also say that the import of oil to Afghanistan has decreased and due to the rising price of oil in the world markets, its price is also increasing in Afghanistan.
In the current market, a liter of petrol fuel costs 79 afghanis, a liter of diesel fuel costs 82 afghanis and a kilo of liquefied petroleum gas costs 90 afghanis.
