The Main Reasons Of The Afghani Rise Against Dollar

Date: Feb 07, 2022, 12:10

Economic experts believe that the decline in the value of the dollar against the Afghani is due to the lack of reserves of the Afghan currency and the entry of the dollar into the market.

One dollar rate in Kabul markets fluctuated between 88 and 89 afghanis on Sunday, a decrease of about 15 percent compared to the previous week.

The Kabul sarai shahzada money exchangers union says that there are several reasons for the increase of afghani against Foreign currencies.

Haji Dadgol, the union's vice president, said that the value of the Afghan currency gradually improved after the Norwegian meeting on the third of this month.

"After the Norwegian conference, the United States allowed all financial institutions and organizations around the world to continue their humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan without any sanctions, which would have an impact on improving the Afghan exchange rate," Dadgol said. "It had a positive impact and will continue to have an impact on the Afghan people's economy."
