The Embassy Of Japan In Afghanistan Announced The Donation Of 18 Million Dollars For The Delivery Of Essential Vaccines

The Embassy of Japan in Afghanistan announced the donation of 18 million dollars to deliver essential vaccines to Afghan mothers and children.

On Wednesday, 26 April, this embassy stated in a tweet that this work was done in February of this year through the United Nations Children's Fund.

  The Embassy of Japan in Afghanistan has also announced that since the beginning of this year, nearly 12,000 medical packages worth 1.2 million dollars have been distributed to vulnerable Afghan women and girls with the cooperation of the United Nations.

The Embassy of Japan in Afghanistan has announced: "These health packages have been distributed among women and girls in need, among internally displaced persons, survivors of violence and those whose families are denied access to health services due to gender discrimination."

This embassy has also stated that at the beginning of this year, it has distributed winter packages (blankets and shoes) to nearly 2 thousand needy families in Al-Say and Najrab districts of Kapisa province.
