30% Decrease In Afghan Saffron Sales Compared To Last Year

Afghanistan's saffron sales are down 20-30 percent from last year, and traders say saffron production has dropped dramatically in 1400.

Statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation show that 8,000 hectares of land in 34 provinces are currently under saffron cultivation.

Saffron sellers and traders say that saffron products have declined significantly in 1400, with the price of saffron declining.

However, some saffron exporters are asking the government to allow them to export saffron products.
