A Significant Increase In The Customs Revenue Of Coal Exports

According to a statement published by the Department of Communication and Publicity from the Ministry of Finance of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, it is said that the customs revenue of Afghanistan's coal exports has increased significantly. According to this announcement, the General Directorate of Customs of the Ministry of Finance has adopted permission to export coal at the Torkham border customs in order to provide facilities for traders, while coal export was previously prohibited from this customs.

 

With the 24-hour activation of Torkham border customs; there has been a significant increase in coal exports compared to previous years.

It is stated in this announcement: In the first 10 months of the year 1400, about 948 thousand tons of coals were exported from the country, from which 1 billion and 893 million Afghanis of customs revenue was obtained. However, in the first 10 months of this year 1401, about 2.7 million tons of coals were exported from the country's customs, from which 12 billion and 143 million Afghanis customs revenue were collected.

According to this announcement, this year's customs product was 10 billion and 250 million Afghanis more than the previous year, which shows a significant increase in the customs revenue of Afghanistan's coal exports.
