The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) says the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan is unfortunately not over, its growing.
Babur Baloch, a spokesman for the agency, said in Geneva on Friday that three and a half million people had been displaced by the crisis inside Afghanistan, with 700,000 of them being forced to flee their homes in 2021 alone.
Mr. Babar added that more urgent help is needed to meet the needs of these people.
A spokesman for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) also said they were providing humanitarian assistance to about 60,000 people daily, but said there were thousands more in need of humanitarian assistance.
