Pakistan Announced That Chaman And Torkham Borders Are Open For Afghans
Pakistan ambassador to Kabul says Chaman and Torkham border gates open in Nangarhar
Mansour Ahmad Khan, a resident, said that since yesterday, these border gates have been open to commercial and public transport trucks.
"Crushing of commercial products and people with visas has started again from the Torkham border. The grass gate was closed by Afghanistan, maybe they had some demands," he also added.
Chaman Gate officials said yesterday that the Chaman Gate, which had been closed by the Taliban government since October 5, would be open to people and businesses every day from 8am to 4pm.
Local traders on the grass protested several times, demanding the opening of the border gate.
