Traders Claim That They Are Still Having Trouble In Transferring Money

Date: May 23, 2022, 12:55

The Central Bank denied the traders claim and said: the money transfer process is proceeding normally.

The process of remittances and banking transactions at the same time as the collapse of the republic in Afghanistan faced a problem that has not returned to normal; Afghan businessmen are calling on the international community to lift restrictions on Afghan banks.

"Our request to the international community, domestic and international banks is to work with the people of Afghanistan, especially the businessmen, who are the main reason for creating jobs in the country," said Mahboob Allah Mohammadi, a businessman.

The Afghanistan Chamber of Industries and Mines says the purchase of essential raw materials and machinery has been delayed due to difficulties in transferring money abroad.

But the Central Bank of Afghanistan denies the allegations, saying the money transfer process is now normal.
