More Than 427 Thousand Tons Of Commercial Goods Have Been Transported By Rail In The Last Month

The Department of Islamic Emirate Railways said that in the last month, 427,595 tons of goods were transferred through the goods railway line.

The Railway Department under the administration of the Islamic Emirate announced this on its Twitter page on Saturday, May 27.

According to published information, wagons carrying commercial goods have been transferred through the ports of Haritan-Mazar-e-Sharif, Aqina, Turghandi, and Khaf-Herat.

According to the statistics provided, 346 thousand and 862 tons passed through the Haritan-Mazar-e-Sharif railway, 23 thousand and 635 tons through Aqineh port, 56 thousand and 443 tons through Torghandi port, and 655 thousand tons through the Khaf port-Herat railway, good were transferred.

Published information indicates that a few days ago, 11 wagons carrying pomegranate juice with a total weight of 733 tons were exported from Afghanistan to Central Asian countries.
The authorities of the Islamic Emirate have claimed that the transfers through the railways in the last month have been unprecedented in the last two years.
