Participants also consider the exhibition to have a positive impact on domestic productions.

Herat governor Sheikh Noor Ahmad Islamjar says the local authority supports industry and trade.

I've always said to all the industrialists and businessmen that you prepare plans that can be implemented because we've seen the fruits of that and for now, about 30,000 people are working directly on the industrial estate. Maybe about 100,000 people work involuntarily. We want our industry to become self-sufficient and strong.

After the coming of the Islamic Emirate in the country, this is the second Afghan Lajward Exhibition to be held in Herat. Most of the country's prelates are said to have been exhibited in this exhibition of domestic and handicraft industries.
