Taliban To Create A New Committee To Control The Quality And Price Of Oil And Liquefied Natural Gas

The Taliban government economic commission has decided to set up a committee to control the quality and price of imported petroleum products and liquefied natural gas.

The Twitter page of the Arg published a statement saying that late yesterday at a meeting of the Economic Commission headed by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, state-owned companies and departments related to gas and oil imports were instructed to form this committee as soon as possible.

The statement also said that the meeting also instructed the food and medicine quality control departments to address the people's complaints in this regard and take serious steps to resolve them.

However, after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, the prices of food and oil in Afghanistan have risen.
