The Ministry Of Industry And Trade Reports That Afghanistan Has Exported More Than 2 Thousand Tons Of Pine Nuts Worth 23 Million Dollars In The First Five Months Of This Year

Akhundzadeh Abdulsalam Javad, the spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, says that 1,000 tons of pine nuts were exported through air corridors.

According to officials in this ministry, Afghan pine nuts are mostly exported to China, Pakistan, India, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.

Akhundzadeh Abdulsalam Javad told TOLOnews: "We exported 100 tons of pine nuts through the air and land corridor, the monetary value of which are about 23 million dollars, which goes to China, Pakistan, India, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States."

At the same time, some businessmen say that the lack of a regular schedule and the lack of cold storage facilities at airports to store pine nuts are among their biggest challenges.
