Donald Trump Was Fined 350 Million Dollars
The New York City court has fined Donald Trump $350 million for document manipulation and providing inaccurate information about the true value of his assets and company capital. The judge has also banned Donald Trump from any commercial activities in New York for three years and ruled that he will be barred from obtaining any bank loans in the state of New York for the same period.
Additionally, last year, the same New York court judge ruled in a civil case that former US President Donald Trump had repeatedly exaggerated his wealth to banks and major insurance companies, claiming billions of dollars.
During the proceedings of this case, in which the Attorney General of New York, Letitia James, claimed, it was stated that Mr. Trump had done so to obtain cheap loans and insurance.
This court has invalidated some of Mr. Trump's business licenses in New York and has now also announced a judgment to halt any business activities by the Trump Organization for the next three years.
The judge in this case found that Donald Trump had exaggerated the value of his assets by $200 million over the past 10 years.
