Officials Promises To Distribute Land To Carpet Weavers In Nangarhar And Faryab

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade officials, land distribution for carpet weavers in Nangarhar and Faryab provinces will begin soon.

The head of the ministry added, "We are trying to strengthen and expand domestic production in all sectors in cooperation with the private sector."

Officials at the Ministry of Industry and Trade say they are working to boost domestic carpet exports by boosting domestic production. According to the ministry, one million people are employed in the carpet production sector.

Some Taliban officials say the only part of the government that has been allowed to distribute land is the country's industrial sector. According to Taliban officials, domestic production could save the country from economic challenges.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban's deputy minister of information and culture, said: "Amir al-Mu'minin has ordered the Ministry of Commerce to stop distributing land across the country, and this ministry can provide land so that people can produce and invest in it."
